1 Killed in Sacramento Crash at Watt and Osage Avenues
SACRAMENTO, CA (November 12, 2022) – A car crash killed at least one person at Watt Avenue and Osage Avenue in Sacramento.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic accident took place on Saturday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 4:47 a.m.
The incident happened when two vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason in Sacramento. They crashed at the intersection of South Watt and Osage avenues.
2 Cars Collide
CHP described the cars as a white Hyundai Sonata and a white Mercedes sedan. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel confirmed that one individual died as a result of the collision. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Watt and Osage avenues to shut down for several hours following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Sacramento crash is still under investigation.
