1 Killed, 1 Injured in Sacramento Crash Near Florin Road and Munson Way
SACRAMENTO, CA (January 19, 2022) – A motorcycle crash killed one person and injured another near Florin Road and Munson Way in Sacramento.
According to the CBS Sacramento and KCRA News, the tragic accident took place on Wednesday evening. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 6:30 p.m.
Sacramento police said a car and a motorcycle collided for an unknown reason in the city. The two crashed near the intersection of Florin Road and Munson Way.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and found the man operating the bike down on the ground as a result of the collision. He died at the scene.
Medical personnel rushed the passenger of the motorcycle to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver of the car stayed at the site and cooperated with the officials. Officers forced the area of Florin Road and Munson Way to shut down for a time following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Sacramento crash is still under investigation.
