
Motorcyclist Killed in Sacramento Crash on Interstate 80 Near Interstate 5
SACRAMENTO, CA (December 14, 2022) – A crash killed a motorcyclist on the Interstate 80 near the Interstate 5 in Sacramento.
According to an article published by the KCRA News, the tragic accident took place on Tuesday. The incident happened when three vehicles collided in the city of Sacramento.
The California Highway Patrol said the motorcycle rider, a sedan, and a big rig were involved in the wreck on December 13. The three crashed for an unknown reason on the Interstate 80 near the transition ramp for Interstate 5.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They confirmed that the motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, died as a result of the collision.
The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, the cause of the fatal Sacramento crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced several lanes of the on the Interstate 80 to shut down for a time near the Interstate 5 following the wreck.
