SACRAMENTO: Hit-and-Run Car Crash at El Centro and El Camino

At Least 1 Hurt After Car Accident at El Centro Road and El Camino Avenue Saturday

Sacramento, CA (April 7, 2021) – A car crash that occurred in the area of El Centro Road and El Camino Avenue resulted in injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.

On April 3, Saturday, two vehicles collided at the Sacramento intersection. Authorities said the wreck involved a blue Dodge Tacoma and a white SUV. For reasons still unclear, the two motorists crashed at El Centro Road and El Camino Avenue around 6:50 p.m.

Responding medical personnel rendered aid to all possible victims. Following the evaluation, officials confirmed at least one person suffered injuries as a result of the accident. The name of the victim, and the extent of their trauma remained unknown.

Meanwhile, the CHP dispatch mentioned a driver involved in the crash fled the scene before police arrived. For this reason, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the incident as a hit-and-run.
