Auto vs. Truck Accident on 80 Freeway Sunday
Sacramento, CA (October 5, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on the Interstate 80 Freeway in Sacramento.

According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, two vehicles collided on I-80 Freeway near the Enterprise Boulevard onramp. Officials said a black Nissan sedan ended up disabled on the right-hand shoulder of the highway; after crashing into a semi truck. Meanwhile, the operator of the big rig apparently continued driving after the collision.
Shortly after 1:20 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the location. First responders found at least one occupant in the Nissan with injuries. Paramedics treated the unidentified victim for unspecified injuries.
Several factors surrounding the collision remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the identity and location of the hit-and-run suspect in the car crash on 80 Freeway.
