Cyclist Hurt in Collision at Watt Avenue and Auburn Boulevard Friday
Sacramento, CA (February 9, 2022) – A suspected hit-and-run car crash occurred in the area of Watt Avenue and Auburn Boulevard on February 4, Friday.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a blue Nissan Sentra struck a bicyclist at the busy intersection in North Sacramento. Officials said the accident took place at about 10:30 p.m.
When medical personnel arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to the cyclist. The name of the victim, and the extent of their injuries have not been revealed thus far.

The CHP log mentioned the driver of the Nissan fled the scene before police arrived. At this time, detectives continue to gather information to identity and locate the hit-and-run suspect.
Further investigation is ongoing on the bicycle accident at Watt Avenue and Auburn Boulevard in Sacramento.
