At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on El Cajon Way Thursday
Sacramento, CA (August 5, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run crash occurred on El Cajon Way early Thursday, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Authorities said a white Kia collided with another vehicle in the 900 block of El Cajon Way in East Sacramento. The make and model of the second automobile involved in the wreck remained unknown at this time.

Shortly after midnight, emergency teams arrived at the crash site. First responders found a male party attended to an injured female passenger. Primary reports indicated the woman appeared bleeding from injuries sustained in the collision.
The CHP dispatch later mentioned a motorist involved in the wreck fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
At this time, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate several factors surrounding the hit-and-run crash on El Cajon Way.
