At Least 1 Hurt in Collision at Madison Avenue and Hackberry Lane Sunday
Sacramento, CA (December 1, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run crash occurred in the area of Madison Avenue and Hackberry Lane on November 28, Sunday.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a motorcycle rider collided with a pickup truck at the busy North Sacramento intersection. Additional details on the make and model of the vehicles involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.
Shortly after 11:48 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. First responders found the rider lying in the middle of the roadway. Paramedics immediately rendered aid to the victim. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed the motorcyclist suffered injuries as a result result of the wreck. The name of the victim, and the extent of their trauma remained undisclosed.
According to the CHP dispatch, the driver of the pickup fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run driver involved in the collision.
Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine exactly how and why the motorcycle crash at Madison Avenue and Hackberry Lane in Sacramento happened.
