Major Injury Collision Near Exposition Boulevard Sunday
Sacramento, CA (October 3, 2021) – A traffic accident involving a motorcycle rider occurred Sunday evening on State Route Highway 51.

According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, the motorcyclist collided with another vehicle in the northbound side of the freeway. The crash took place near the Exposition Boulevard offramp in Sacramento.
The CHP logged the incident at about 9 p.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the two occupants on the motorbike with injuries. Paramedics attended to the victims, then later transferred them to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation. The name of the injured motorcyclist driver and passenger remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Officials said they found a Toyoto RAV4 at the scene. The occupants of the passenger vehicle appeared unharmed after the incident.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the motorcycle accident in Sacramento.
