Motorcyclist Badly Hurt in Multi-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 5 Tuesday
Sacramento, CA (June 22, 2021) – A motorcycle rider suffered injuries following a traffic accident on Interstate 5, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
On Tuesday, at about 3:40 p.m., CHP logged a collision involving a motorcyclist and two passenger vehicle. Authorities described the automobiles found at the scene as a gray Volkswagen Passat, and a red Chevrolet pickup truck.
The accident dispatch mentioned the rider ended up overthrown onto the right-hand shoulder of Interstate 5, also known as West Side Freeway. The crash happened near the Yolo rest area in North Sacramento.

When medical personnel arrived at the site, they immediately rendered aid to the motorcyclist. Authorities later confirmed the man sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Meanwhile, the conditions of other parties involved in the incident remained unknown.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine several factors surrounding the motorcycle and car crash on Interstate 5.
