Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Sacramento Crash on Edison Avenue
SACRAMENTO, CA (February 12, 2022) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after a crash on Edison Avenue in Sacramento.
The ABC 10 News wrote that the accident took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the collision shortly after 5 p.m.
Sacramento police said a vehicle struck a male pedestrian for an unknown reason in the Arden area. The driver hit him in the 2000 block of Edison Avenue.
Man Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the the man who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took him to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and his condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police mentioned that the driver stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the man. Officers forced a stretch of Edison Avenue to shut down for a time following the incident.
The cause of the Sacramento pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
