Man Hit and Injured by Vehicle on Westside Freeway Saturday
Sacramento, CA (November 27, 2021) – A pedestrian accident occurred Saturday morning on Interstate 5, also known as Westside Freeway.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a vehicle struck an individual in the northbound side of the freeway near the Richards Boulevard offramp.
CHP logged the incident at about 12:57 a.m.

Our sources confirmed the pedestrian suffered major injuries as a result of the collision. Responding emergency teams rendered first aid to the victim at the scene. Shortly after, paramedics transported the patient to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
Meanwhile, the incident report mentioned the driver involved in the crash stayed at the scene. The motorist cooperated with the investigation process.
Detective assigned to handle the case continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the pedestrian accident on Interstate 5 at Richards Boulevard happened.
