2 Seriously Injured in Sacramento Crash Near Florin Road and Greenhaven Drive
SACRAMENTO, CA (April 20, 2021) – A crash left a pedestrian and a motorcycle rider seriously injured near Florin Road and Greenhaven Drive in Sacramento.
The CBS Sacramento affirmed that the accident occurred on Tuesday night. They wrote the report at about 10:11 p.m.
Police said the motorcycle rider struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Sacramento. The motorcyclist hit the person near the intersection of Florin Road and Greenhaven Drive.
Pedestrian Hit by Motorcycle Rider
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene in the Pocket neighborhood. They found both patients who ended up suffering from serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed them to two area hospitals for treatment. The names of the two wounded people and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, police forced the intersection of Florin Road and Greenhaven Drive to shut down following the Sacramento crash. They are investigating if alcohol, drugs or speed played a role in the collision.
Officers are still determining the cause of the accident.
