Major Injury Collision Near Florin Road Onramp Friday
Sacramento, CA (March 11, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Interstate 5, also known as West Side Freeway.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a semi truck overturned for an unknown reason in the southbound side of I-5. CHP logged the case Friday at about 12:02 p.m.

When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found the big rig disabled near the Florin Road onramp. Responding paramedics checked the conditions of all the occupants in the truck. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed one person sustained major trauma; including injury to their knee, and a broken left arm. An ambulance rushed the patient to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole after to investigate the precise cause of the traffic accident on Interstate 5 in Sacramento.
