3 Seriously Injured in Salinas Crash at Blanco Road and La Mesa Drive
SALINAS, CA (June 28, 2021) – Several were seriously injured after a car crash at Blanco Road and La Mesa Drive in Salinas.
According to an article published by the KION News, the accident took place on Monday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 12 p.m.
Salinas police said a white sedan and silver Nissan Altima collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed at the intersection of Blanco Road and La Mesa Drive.
2 Cars Collide in Salinas
An occupant of one of the cars involved ended up ejected as a result of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and found a total of three people hurt in the incident.
Medical personnel rushed all three patients to Natividad Medical Center for treatment of major injuries. Officials did not disclose their names and condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police forced the area of Blanco and La Mesa to shut down following the collision. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Salinas crash.
