3 Injured in Salinas Pedestrian Crash at Main and Lamar Streets
SALINAS, CA (February 6, 2022) – A pedestrian crash left three people injured at North Main and Lamar Streets in Salinas.
According to an article published by the KION News, the accident took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the collision on February 5 at around 5 p.m.
Salinas police said a vehicle struck three victims, including a child pedestrian, in a crosswalk in the city. The driver hit them at the intersection of North Main and Lamar streets.
Victims Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the three people on the ground as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel provided treatment to the patients for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the victims. Officers forced the area of Main and Lamar streets to shut down following the accident.
The cause of the Salinas pedestrian is still under investigation.
