1 Seriously Injured in San Benito County Crash at Highway 129 and Searle Road
SAN BENITO COUNTY, CA (May 7, 2021) – A crash seriously injured a motorcyclist at Highway 129 and Searle Road in San Benito County.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident occurred on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 5:26 p.m.
According to CHP, a black BMW and the motorcyclist collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed at the intersection of Highway 129 and Searle Road.
Motorcycle vs Car Collision Near Aromas and San Juan Bautista
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Aromas and San Juan Bautista. They found the motorcycle rider who sustained major injuries to their back as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the rider to the Natividad Medical Center for treatment. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the BMW ended up hurt or if they stayed at the site after the incident. Officials forced the roadway to shut down following the collision.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the San Benito County crash.
