4 Injured in San Bernardino Crash on Highway 259 Near 215 Freeway

SAN BERNARDINO, CA (August 26, 2022) – Several were hospitalized after a car crash on Highway 259 in San Bernardino.

According to a report published by the On Scene TV, the accident took place early Sunday. Officers arrived at the scene of the wreck at about 2:16 a.m.

The incident happened on August 21 when two cars collided for an unknown reason in the city of San Bernardino. The vehicles crashed on northbound Highway 259, just north of the 215 Freeway.

2 Cars Collide

The California Highway Patrol said one car caught fire due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and found a total of four people, including a child, hurt.

Two patients sustained immediate injuries while the other two survived with minor injuries. Medical personnel rushed them to hospital for treatment.

The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the northbound lanes of Highway 259 to shut down following the wreck.

The cause of the San Bernardino crash is still under investigation.
