At Least 1 Killed in Traffic Collision on Riverside Freeway Sunday
San Bernardino, CA (February 13, 2022) – A deadly traffic accident occurred Sunday on Interstate 215, also known as Riverside Freeway.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a semi truck collided with a blue sedan in the northbound side of I-215. Initial records indicated the crash took place in the area near Baseline Street in San Bernardino.
CHP logged the case at about 3:55 a.m.

When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found a semi truck and a blue sedan disabled in the middle of the freeway. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all the occupants of both the truck and the sedan. After the evaluation, authorities sadly confirmed one person dead as a result of the collision. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning to investigate the precise cause of the fatal crash on Interstate 215 in San Bernardino.
