Rider Hospitalized After Collision on Barstow Freeway Thursday
San Bernardino, CA (July 15, 2021) – A motorcycle rider suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Interstate 15 Thursday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, the motorcyclist collided with a maroon Kia Forte on Barstow (15) Freeway. The force from the impact caused the rider to slam against the center divider along the interstate near Oakie Flat Road.
The crash took place at about 4:20 p.m.
Minor Injury Motorcycle Accident in San Bernardino, July 15
Authorities later determined the motorcyclist sustained minor injuries as a result of the wreck. Per CHP log, paramedics transported the injured rider to a hospital for treatment. The name of the patient and their condition at this time have not been discussed thus far.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the motorcycle accident in San Bernardino happened.
