Major Injury Collision on Highway 52 Saturday
San Diego, CA (October 2, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on State Route Highway 52 early Saturday.
The California Highway Patrol group reported two vehicles collided in the eastbound side of SR-52. Officials said the crash took place near the transition road onto State Route Highway 163 in San Diego.
Initial records indicated the collision caused a gray sedan to roll over multiple times, and land on the right-hand side of the highway. Rescue teams arrived at the location and found the gray Honda Civic with major damage.

Medical personnel reportedly rendered aid to all possible victims in the crash. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed one person sustained major injuries as a result of the wreck. The name and age of the injured party remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
The CHP dispatch mentioned the second vehicle involved in the collision fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Further investigation on the car accident on State Route 52 is ongoing.
