At Least 1 Hurt in Collision Near 60th Street Thursday
San Diego, CA (January 13, 2022) – A passenger suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on Federal Boulevard Thursday.
According to ABC10 News, a 2018 Honda Accord drifted off the roadway and slammed into parked vehicles in the Emerald Hills Encanto neighborhood. The collision took place in the 6000 block of Federal Boulevard near 60th Street.
The make and model of the automobile involved in the accident have not been discussed thus far.
Shortly after 4:36 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all possible victims in the wreck. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed a passenger sustained injuries as a result of the collision. An ambulance transported the patient to a local hospital for treatment.
The article published online mentioned the driver exited the car and fled the scene on foot. Detectives continue to gather information to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect.
Further investigation is underway on the car crash on Federal Boulevard in San Diego.
