Rider Injured in Fiery Collision Near Sea World Drive
San Diego, CA (January 1, 2023) – A motorcyclist suffered injuries following a traffic crash that occurred on the Interstate 5 Freeway in Mission Bay Park.
Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 5 in Mission Bay
The On Scene TV, and ABC10 News reported a man riding a motorbike collided with a car and a pickup truck in the northbound side of I-5. Our sources indicated the accident took place near Sea World Drive Friday morning.
Rescue teams responded to the crash site shortly after 3:40 a.m. Firefighters also later arrived and put out the bike fire.
Medical personnel immediately checked the conditions of all parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, emergency crews confirmed the motorcyclist sustained injuries as a result of the incident. An ambulance rushed the unconscious victim to a hospital, where they were listed in critical condition.
Several factors surrounding the traffic crash remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the chain-reaction collision on Interstate 5 in the Mission Bay Park of San Diego.
