Innocent Driver Injured in Collision Near Home Avenue
San Diego, CA (August 14, 2022) – A car accident that occurred on the Interstate 805 Freeway resulted in injuries, according to On Scene TV.
Earlier reports indicated officers spotted a grey 2019 Honda Civic traveling in the wrong direction on the freeway near Home Avenue. Officials said the Honda was heading south in the northbound lanes of I-805. The suspect later crashed into a Dodge Caravan, and a white Honda CRV.
Major Car Accident on 805 Freeway in San Diego
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found the woman driving the Honda suffering in injuries. Paramedics said they transported the injured woman to a local hospital for further treatment.
Authorities added the woman driving in the wrong-way also sustained injuries in the crash.
At this time, the California Highway Patrol group continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the accident that happened on 805 Freeway in San Diego.
