At Least 1 Killed in Collision Near 5 Freeway
San Fernando, CA (September 9, 2022) – One person died following a traffic crash that occurred on State Route Highway 118 on September 7, Wednesday.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a man riding a green motorcycle was traveling at an unknown direction on SR-118. When the rider approached the area near the Interstate 5 Freeway, they collided into a black BMW.
CHP logged the case around 8:14 p.m.
Fatal Traffic Crash on State Route 18 in San Fernando
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found at least one person unconscious. Medical personnel performed life-saving measures to the victim but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and eventually passed away. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole evening. They continue to investigate exactly how and why the fatal crash happened on State Route 118 in San Fernando.
