San Francisco Car and Truck Crash Highway 101 Produce Avenue

1 Seriously Injured in San Francisco Crash on Highway 101 at Produce Avenue

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (November 23, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a crash on Highway 101 and Produce Avenue in San Francisco.

A California Highway Patrol dispatch said the accident took place early Monday. Officers reported the wreck on November 22 at about 2:25 a.m.

According to CHP, an attenuator truck and a Volkswagen Touareg collided for an unknown reason in San Francisco. The two crashed on southbound Highway 101 at Produce Avenue.

Car and Truck Collide

CHP added that one of the vehicles involved major front-end damage due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.

They found one person who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the patient to a hospital for treatment.

The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the southbound Highway 101 at Produce to shut down following the wreck.

The cause of the San Francisco crash is still under investigation.
