Major Injury Collision Near Alemany Boulevard Saturday
San Francisco, CA (February 12, 2022) – A traffic accident that occurred Saturday on Interstate 280 resulted in injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Initial records indicated a Mitsubishi sedan collided with another vehicle in the northbound side of the freeway in San Francisco. The crash took place in the area near Alemany Boulevard onramp.
The CHP logged the case at about 4:40 a.m.
When rescues teams arrived at the site, they found as many as seven people involved in the wreck. Responding paramedics checked the physical conditions of all seven individuals. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained major trauma as a result of the collision. The name and age of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning to determine several unclear factors surrounding the traffic crash on Interstate 280 in San Francisco. Further investigation on the crash is underway.
