At Least 1 Injured in Collision on Interstate 80 at Harrison Street Saturday
San Francisco, CA (September 28, 2021) – A motorcycle rider suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on the Interstate 80 Freeway Saturday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol log, the motorcyclist collided with several other vehicles in the westbound side of the freeway at Harrison Street offramp.
Primary reports indicated the multi-vehicle crash involved a black Kawasaki motorcycle; a white Chevrolet sedan; a tour bus; and a box truck. At this time, it remained unclear how the pileup collision happened.
Female Rider Hospitalized After Accident in San Francisco, September 25
Shortly after 10:14 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the scene. Paramedics reportedly found a female rider with injuries to her leg. Due to the severe condition of the victim, emergency crews rushed the woman to a hospital for treatment. Additional details on the patient have not been discussed thus far.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the motorcycle accident in San Francisco.
