Man Injured in San Francisco Hit-and-Run Crash on Turk Street
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (July 30, 2021) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash on Turk Street in San Francisco.
According to an article published by the CBS San Francisco, the accident took place late Thursday night. Officers reported the collision on July 29 at around 11:35 p.m.
The incident began when a box truck hit a male pedestrian for an unknown reason in the Western Addition neighborhood of San Francisco.
San Francisco police said the vehicle struck him in the 1200 block of Turk Street. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the 41-year-old man left injured in the roadway.

He sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then took the victim to a hospital for treatment.
Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and his condition at this time. Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver of the box truck did not stop to render aid and fled the area.
Officers forced a stretch of Turk Street to shut down following the collision. The San Francisco hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
