Rider Killed in Collision on West Hedding Street Near Bascom Avenue Friday
San Jose, CA (July 30, 2021) – A motorcycle rider died following traffic accident that occurred on West Hedding Street Friday afternoon, the Mercury News reported.
Our sources indicated a motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed heading east on Hedding. When the rider approached the area near Bascom Avenue, he veered off the roadway and slammed into a tree.
The catastrophic incident took place in the 2000 block of West Hedding Street near O’Connor Hospital in San Jose.

Shortly after 5:18 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the crash site. Responding paramedics found the rider, an adult male, with life-threatening injuries. Authorities later confirmed the motorcyclist sadly died as a result of the incident. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Additional details on the unfortunate event have not been revealed thus far. Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate exactly what caused the fatal motorcycle accident on West Hedding Street in San Jose.
