Pedestrian Killed in San Jose Accident on Senter Road Near Lewis Road
SAN JOSE, CA (May 21, 2021) – A pedestrian was killed after an accident on Senter Road in the city of San Jose.
According to an article published by the East Bay Times, the tragic incident occurred late Friday night. Officers reported the crash at about 10:50 p.m.
San Jose police said a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason. The driver hit the person in the 2900 block of Senter Road.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Lewis Road. They confirmed that the victim died as a result of the collision.
The name of the deceased party remains unreleased pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, police affirmed that the motorist involved stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the person.
The driver cooperated with the authorities. Officials forced Senter Road to shut down for a time following the collision. The fatal San Jose pedestrian accident is still under investigation.
