1 Injured in San Jose Hit-and-Run Crash at Alum Rock Avenue and McKee Road
SAN JOSE, CA (November 11, 2021) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash at Alum Rock Avenue and McKee Road in San Jose.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident on Wednesday night. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at around 9:40 p.m.
The incident happened on November 9 when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in San Jose. They crashed at the intersection of Alum Rock Avenue and McKee Road.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene in the East Foothills neighborhood. They found one person hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided aid to the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the other driver did not stop to help and fled the area. Officers forced the corner of Alum Rock and McKee to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the San Jose hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
