Injury Hit-and-Run Collision at 10th and East Santa Clara
San Jose, CA (March 22, 2023) – A pedestrian suffered serious injuries following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred in the area of 10th and East Santa Clara Street.
According to CBS News, a vehicle struck an individual at the intersection in San Jose Wednesday night, March 22. Earlier reports indicated the accident prompted a closure to all traffic of East Santa Clara Street between 10th and 11th.
Pedestrian Hospitalized After Accident in San Jose
Emergency crews responded to the crash site shortly after 6:30 p.m. When medical personnel arrived, they immediately rendered aid to the pedestrian found suffering in life-threatening injuries. An ambulance later rushed the victim to a hospital where he was stabilized at approximately 9 p.m. Personal information on the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
