Major Injury Collision Near Lucy Brown Road

San Juan Bautista, CA (October 7, 2022) – A traffic accident that occurred in the area of Highway 156 and Lucy Brown Road resulted in injuries, the California Highway Patrol reported.

Officials said a motorcyclist collided with a semi truck on the highway Friday afternoon. According to the dispatch, the big rig made a turn and hit the motorcyclist that drove into its path.

CHP logged the incident at about 4:28 p.m.

When rescue teams arrived at the crash site, they found the motorbike with significant damage. Responding paramedics immediately checked the condition of the rider. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed the motorcyclist sustained major injuries as a result of the wreck. Personal information on the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.

Several factors surrounding the collision have not been revealed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the accident that happened on Highway 156 in San Juan Bautista.
