1 Killed in Collision on Broad Street
San Luis Obispo, CA (April 18, 2022) – At least one person died following a car accident that occurred on Broad Street on April 17.
The Tribune published an article online reporting two vehicles that collided in San Luis Obispo. Officials said the horrible crash took place in the 3900 block of Broad Street Sunday morning.
Deadly Car Accident in SLO
Shortly after 11:39 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found one unconscious driver. Paramedics rushed the victim to the hospital. Sadly, the motorist succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the other driver involved in the unfortunate event.
Detectives stayed at the scene for several hours. They continue to investigate exactly how and why the fatal crash happened on Broad Street in San Luis Obispo.
