Vehicle Strikes, Kills Woman at Barham Drive and Mission Road
San Marcos, CA (May 14, 2022) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred Friday evening in the area of Barham Drive and Mission Road.
According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, a vehicle struck a female party at the intersection in San Marcos. The collision took place just west of Nordahl Road and south of State Route 78.
Pedestrian Dies at Hospital After Collision in San Marcos
Earlier reports indicated the horrible crash happened at about 8:20 p.m. When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found a woman lying on the ground. An ambulance rushed the victim to the hospital. Sadly, the patient succumbed to her injuries and eventually passed away. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
The driver appeared unharmed after the crash.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly accident at Barham Drive and Mission Road.
