San Martin Wrong-Way Head-On Crash on Fitzgerald Avenue

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found two people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel then rushed one patient to the Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.

They took the other victim to the St. Louise Regional Hospital with minor injuries. Officials did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.

Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of Fitzgerald Avenue to shut down following the wreck. The San Martin crash is still under investigation.
