At Least 1 Badly Hurt in Collision on El Camino Real Saturday
San Miguel, CA (October 23, 2021) – A traffic accident involving semi truck occurred Saturday morning on U.S. Highway 101, also known as El Camino Real.

The California Highway Patrol group reported a semi truck carrying diesel collided with a Chevrolet pickup in the northbound side of US-101. Initial records indicated the crash took place near the Camp Roberts in San Miguel.
CHP logged the incident around 4:33 a.m.
When emergency teams arrived at the location, they found the semi truck disabled near the railroad tracks.
Responding medical personnel rendered aid to all possible victims in the crash. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person suffered major injuries as a result of the wreck. The name and age of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning to investigate several factors surrounding the car and truck accident on Highway 101 in San Miguel.
