2 Killed in Santa Ana Crash Near Bristol Street and Saint Andrews Place
SANTA ANA, CA (February 5, 2022) – A car crash killed two people and injured several others near Bristol Street and Saint Andrews Place in Santa Ana.
According to The Orange County Register and KTLA News, the tragic accident took place on Friday evening. Officers reported the wreck at around 5:45 p.m.
Santa Ana police said four vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city on February 4. They crashed near the intersection Bristol Street and Saint Andrews Place.
The reports described the cars as three sedans and a pickup truck. A sedan came to a rest on top of another car, pinning two men in their 60s in the wreckage below.
Several Injured in Wreck
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and soon pronounced the trapped victims dead at the scene. Multiple other drivers and occupants ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patients to hospitals for treatment of minor to moderate injuries. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not released.
Meanwhile, police forced the area of Bristol and Saint Andrews to shut down for hours following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Santa Ana crash is still under investigation.
