At Least 1 Hurt in Collision at Hollister Avenue and Turnpike Road Wednesday
Santa Barbara, CA (October 23, 2021) – October 20, Wednesday, a car accident occurred in the area of Hollister Avenue and Turnpike Road.
The California Highway Patrol group reported two vehicles collided at the Santa Barbara intersection. Officials described an automobile involved in the wreck as a dark blue Lexus SUV.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the other car involved in the collision.

Medical personnel arrived at the location shortly after 10:05 a.m. Paramedics rendered aid to all possible victims in the crash. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained moderate injuries as a result of the incident. According to the CHP dispatch, one required transport to the hospital for treatment.
The name and age of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate several factors surrounding the car accident at Hollister Avenue and Turnpike Road.
