At Least 1 Badly Hurt in Collision on Highway 101 Monday
Santa Barbara, CA (November 15, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a car accident that occurred on Highway 101 near Sheffield Drive.
Initial records indicated the wreck involved two or more vehicles. Officials described the automobiles found at the scene as a white Honda SUV, and a minivan.
Per CHP dispatch, the force from the impact caused the minivan to roll over multiple times. The white Honda SUV also overturned and landed on its roof.
Authorities logged the case shortly before 12 noon.
Major Injury Car Accident in Santa Barbara, November 15
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found at least one person with major injuries. Paramedics rendered first aid to the victim, then transferred them to the hospital for further treatment.
Several factors surrounding the accident remained unclear. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine the precise cause of the crash on Highway 101 in Santa Barbara.
