Major Injury Collision on SR-17
Santa Clara County, CA (September 2, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Highway 17 and Redwood Estates Road.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a motorcyclist collided with a black SUV in the northbound side of SR-17.
CHP logged the case on August 20, Saturday.
At Least 1 Hurt in Santa Clara County Crash
Shortly after 3:15 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics found the rider lying in the number two lane of the highway. After the evaluation, officers confirmed the motorcyclist sustained major trauma as a result of the collision. Our sources confirmed the patient was transported to Valley Medical Center for further treatment.
Several factors surrounding the incident remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the crash happened on Highway 17 in Santa Clara County.
