At Least 1 Hurt in Collision Near Great America Parkway Thursday
Santa Clara, CA (February 12, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a suspected hit-and-run car crash that occurred on State Route 237 on February 10.
According to the CHP dispatch, a vehicle slammed into the back of a silver Toyota Corolla Thursday afternoon. The collision took place near the Great America Parkway onramp.
Emergency crews responded to the location shortly after 4:53 p.m. Paramedics said they rendered aid to all possible victims in the crash. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed one person sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. The name and condition of the patient at this time remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
The CHP log mentioned the car that struck the Toyota fled the scene after the incident. At this time, detectives continue to gather information to identify the hit-and-run suspect.
Further investigation is ongoing on the car accident on State Route 237 in Santa Clara.
