Bicycle Rider Injured in Santa Clarita Crash Near Bouquet Canyon and Valencia
SANTA CLARITA, CA (March 6, 2022) – A bicycle rider was injured after a crash near Bouquet Canyon Road and Valencia Boulevard in Santa Clarita.
According to an article published by the Hometown Station, the accident took place on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the collision at around 2 p.m.
A vehicle struck a male bicycle rider for an unknown reason in Santa Clarita. The driver hit him near the intersection of Bouquet Canyon Road and Valencia Boulevard.
Bicyclist Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the cyclist hurt and sitting on the curb with his dog as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then treated the victim for the minor injuries they sustained in the incident. The report did not release the name of the wounded patient and his condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the rider. Officers forced the area of Bouquet Canyon and Valencia to shut down following the bicycle crash.
The cause of the Santa Clarita collision is still under investigation.
