At Least 1 Hurt in Collision Near Briggs Road Tuesday
Santa Paula, CA (February 5, 2022) – On February 1, a suspected hit-and-run crash occurred on State Route 126 near Briggs Road.
The California Highway Patrol group reported two vehicles collided in the westbound side of the highway in Santa Paula.
Shortly after 6:47 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. First responders found a blue Honda hybrid car disabled near the center divider of SR-126, also known as Santa Paula Freeway.
Responding medical personnel rendered aid to all the occupants in the Honda. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. Personal information on the victim have not been discussed thus far.

Meanwhile, officials mentioned the other motorist involved in the collision fled the scene. Investigators continue to work at this time to determine the identity and location of the hit-and-run suspect.
