Motorcyclist Injured in Santa Rosa Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 101
SANTA ROSA, CA (June 6, 2021) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash on Highway 101 in Santa Rosa.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 3:36 p.m.
CHP said a vehicle struck the rider of a Kawasaki Ninja for an unknown reason in Santa Rosa. The two crashed on northbound Highway 101 near the Todd Road off-ramp.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the motorcyclist left lying on the ground in the center divider as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment of a shoulder injury. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the other driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled the area. They described the car as a white pickup truck with a license plate of 9W13296.
Officers forced the northbound lanes of Highway 101 to close following the wreck. The Santa Rosa hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
