Woman Hospitalized After Hit-and-Run Crash at Stony Point and Butler
Santa Rosa, CA (July 11, 2022) – A pedestrian suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run collision that occurred over the weekend at the intersection of Stony Point Road and Butler Avenue.
According to CBS News, a vehicle struck a female party at the crossing in Santa Road. The crash took place in the North Bay area Sunday evening.
Emergency crews arrived at the location shortly after 10:30 p.m. Earlier reports confirmed the pedestrian sustained injuries as a result of the crash. The article published online mentioned paramedics rushed the injured woman to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for further treatment. Personal information on the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, officials mentioned the driver involved in the collision fled after the accident. Authorities believed the hit-and-run suspect was driving a 2014, 2015 or 2016 Jeep Cherokee.
Further investigation is ongoing on the pedestrian accident that happened at Stony Point Road and Butler Avenue.
