Pedestrian Hit and Injured by Vehicle at Bennett Valley Road and Farmers Lane Tuesday
Santa Rosa, CA (September 8, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered serious injuries following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred in the area of Bennett Valley Road and Farmers Lane.
On September 7, Tuesday, a van reportedly struck a 60-year-old man at the Santa Rosa intersection.
The Press Democrat published an article online indicating the pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision. Preliminary investigation revealed the victim, believed to be a transient man, was not using the crosswalk at the time of the crash.

Following the incident, the 17-year-old boy driving the van fled the scene before police arrived. The teenager driver apparently returned to the scene shortly after 9 p.m.
Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the hit-and-run crash in Santa Rosa.
