Sara Juarez Haro, 24, Seriously Injured in Paso Robles Crash on Highway 46
PASO ROBLES, CA (February 13, 2022) – Sara Juarez Haro was seriously hurt after a car crash on Highway 46 in Paso Robles.
The California Highway Patrol identified the 24-year-old Tulare woman as one of the victims in the wreck which took place on Saturday.
The incident happened when Sara Juarez Haro was driving a 2017 Toyota Corolla west on Highway 46, approaching River Grove Drive, in Paso Robles.
At the same time, a 2000 Honda CR-V was going south on River Grove. Its driver, 49-year-old Maria Garcia De Arteaga, entered the highway and did not see the Toyota.
Multiple Cars Collide
In the process, the Corolla struck the driver’s side of the Honda in the intersection. A 2007 Chevrolet Uplander headed west on Highway 46 approached and then hit the Toyota.
Sara Juarez Haro and her passenger sustained major injuries as a result of the crash. The Pahrum Nevada woman driving the CR-V and the other three occupants survived with major to moderate injuries.
Paramedics rushed all six patients to the Sierra Vista Hospital for treatment. Medical personnel took the two people riding the Chevrolet with minor wounds.
The Tribune wrote that the accident occurred on February 12 at about 7:50 p.m. The cause of the Paso Robles crash is still under investigation.
