Motorcyclist Injured in Saugus Crash at Copper Hill and San Francisquito Canyon
SANTA CLARITA, CA (May 22, 2022) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a crash at Copper Hill Drive and San Francisquito Canyon Road in Saugus.
According to an article published by the Hometown Station, the accident took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 1:40 p.m.
The incident happened on May 21 when the motorcyclist and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in the Saugus neighborhood.
Motorcycle and Vehicle Collide
The two crashed at the intersection of Copper Hill Drive and San Francisquito Canyon Road. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel found the motorcycle down on the ground and the rider hurt as a result of the collision. They took the patient to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers did not mention if the other driver stopped or stayed at the site following the wreck.
Officials forced the area of Copper Hill and San Francisquito Canyon to shut down after the collision. The cause of the Saugus crash is still under investigation.
